rigid fork update

So im still trying to find a rigid fork for my rockhoper.....

Everywhere has sold out of the kenesis maxlite fork and no idea when they coming back into stock...
So im now looking for another fork to use .

Budget is 120 tops, must have V brake bosses.
im trying to make bike into commuter, so far have nice pair of 1.35 tyres just need this fork sorted.

Suggestions please.

Been looking at those and exotic do seem very popular(especially with you sonic:-) )
The salsa gets very good reviews though, although its only available in 425mm, so would mean a slight change from 100m to 85mm....

Just need to decide.
Exotic which is £97 or the salsa £79

This, never used one myself but ive read positive comments.

They are pretty cheap, £40 ish. They looks the part too.

I think they come with different dimensions so you should be able to find one that suits your bike.

Going to buy a Exotic fork,Reading around their forks seem to be very good and tbh im looking for something that isnt going to break after a year or two.

I cant justify the carbon fork for my commuter(or it cost more than bike lol) so going for the alloy version at £97, il let you know how it comes along once ive ordered.

p.s Will i have any problems if i try fitting it using my current headset on the rockhopper?
