Love it. Anyone else watching it?
would i would do to play there, like the top 100 golfer just has! closest i will get is being a spectator, i'm planning to be a patron in a couple of years.
go sergio.

Yep, look forward to it every year and have done since the Seve days. There's something magical about the Masters. I would love to play the course, but I think if I was given the opportunity I would politely decline - wouldn't want to shatter the dream, I'm a 6 handicap but I think if I played Augusta I'd be happy just to break 90.
That 14-year old did well, hope he follows it up today and makes the cut. And what is it with Freddy Couples and Augusta ...
I have a feeling that this is going to be Tigers year ... just needs to get his putter firing as it didn't look too sharp yesterday.0 -
Yep ! love it..Cervelo S5 Ultegra Di2.0

id be happy to break a ton round there. those greens...
i hope freddy comes and does the senior open, one of my faverote golfers of my childhood.
i dont particularly like woods, (i dont like his on course demeanour that much) but theres no denying hes the best by far golfer of recent times, if not all time, and its great watching him, and he has been missed, so i wouldnt begrudge him victory, however id love to see sergio get a major, and would like to see westwood get one too. them or mickleson for me.
im a big phil fanboy. a great bloke by all accounts.0 -
Ya ! Phil Mickelson is a great guy from what ive heard and does a lot of work for charity...
Im wondering if Mcllory will manage to sort his putting as it's been rubbish.
I would also like to see Bubba up there as he's quality.Cervelo S5 Ultegra Di2.0 -

What does that mean, i heard steven gerrard mention his handicap - is it to do with how many shots you take? The dissenter is every human being at those moments of his life when he resigns
momentarily from the herd and thinks for himself.0 -

A handicap is a numerical measure of a golfer's potential playing ability based on the tees played for a given course. It is used to calculate a net score from the number of strokes actually played during a competition, thus allowing players of different proficiency to play against each other on somewhat equal terms. The higher the handicap of a player, the poorer the player is relative to those with lower handicaps. "Official" handicaps are administered by golf clubs or national golf associations. Exact rules relating to handicaps can vary from country to country.
Handicap systems are not used in professional golf.
It means if I were to play Augusta, to play to my handicap I'd have to go round in 78 shots .... doubt that would ever happen, not with those greens.0 -
Loved the Faldo years
What he did with Leadbitter was incredible.
6 majors is a mega haul, but he could easily have had a few more.
Rootin for Justin, but can't see it0 -

The Faldo years were quite good, you had to feel for Norman in that famous final day collapse though.0 -
Has always been my favourite major since a young teenager. I have registered to become a patron and would love to get out there in next couple of years. Met Craig Stadler at Wentworth the year he won the Masters. I was caddying for a mate in the pro-am and he was the pro (naturally). Very nice chap despite the fact that he looks like he's been sucking a lemon.
Come on Justin!!Always be yourself, unless you can be Aaron Rodgers....Then always be Aaron Rodgers.0 -
saddo that i am i got the walrus to sign my program at the senior british open a couple of years back. a funny guy, my kind of golfer, walks off if hes doing badly in a competiotion!0

Nah... his team mates.0 -
I love it and I hate it. The Masters is just about everything that is wrong with golf - exclusive clientele, not being allowed to call them flowers (they have to be Azaleas etc), dictating the TV coverage, their stupid little hut for the "jacket ceremony".
But it's a great spectacle. Cheap to get in too if you can get a ticket - and the food and things is very reasonable - unlike most other USPGA events where you're not allowed anything in and then they charge $4 a drink when it's 100 degrees and there's no shade. I once spent about £50 just staying alive for 12 hours.I'm left handed, if that matters.0 -
If they give a 14 year old lad a 1 stroke penalty for being too slow, what reason will they come up with to avoid giving the game's biggest star the boot for cheating?0
