Safe, easy to install and virus free (don't get any ideas).

    it comes built in in explorer firefox, not sure if that's an F1 hybrid or separate curcubite member :shock:

    I use Noscript to block scripts running on pages. You have to manually accept scripts which can be a bit annoying. I also use adb!ock p!us which stops you getting any adverts on most pages.
  • Recommend you install Firefox or Seamonkey, add the Flashblock plug-in, and ad-block whilst you're there

    Chrome has it built-in. Settings -> Show advanced settings -> Privacy -> Content settings. Scroll down to 'plug-ins' and choose either click to play or block all. Click to play will replace the plug in content (flash, java, etc) with a grey box which you can click on to load it.
