Chain cleaner looks ok for the money.Life isnt like a box of chocolates, its like a bag of pic n mix.0

chain cleaner is same as barbieri (http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Mode ... elID=33179) so for the price, a real bargain. I find these useful to take on multi-day touring excurtions because its cheap enough to bin it after use rather than work out how to carry the now dirty/oily etc cleaning device in your bags.
Jerseys look interesting and slightly different to the norm.
Spoke reflectors are good - discolour over a winter but hey again they are disposable.
Tool kit is good but I already have one at work as backup.
Thats about all I would fancy from there - so I will save some money as I already have any bits that might interest me!0 -

Just keep the receipts...I'm sorry you don't believe in miracles0

I was there earlier - its brilliant. That tool kit is ok too - handy to have around. The chain cleamers good too - althouh the small sachets of lube/cleaner are teeny - I use a mixture that contains orange juice. The dissenter is every human being at those moments of his life when he resigns
momentarily from the herd and thinks for himself.0 -
I'm interested in the chain cleaner. They go for over £20 in Cadence0

Had a look at the link.
Shame to see George Lamb working for Lidl now. I thought he was pretty good hosting 'Bank Job'0 -

Spoke reflectors cut down can be good for 2 bikes depending on pattern and spoke count. Will be off to buy 2 packs and for the SS commuter and play with the patterns. Usually some near the hub and others near the rim.I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.0

Picked up some stuff this morning. The two advertised jerseys are nice, but be warned that they only have one small zipped pocket. Big enough for a phone, but that's it. One has a zipped front, the other is a T-shirt with a zipped pocket. I'll use them for commuting in summer when I'm doing 5 miles there and 16 miles back
Had a poke around the other baskets and found a red short sleeve jersey with three large pockets. Happened to be my size, so I went for it. It was £4.99.
Also having a try with the "performance underwear" ie. short legged compression thing. Bought a rucksack, lock and the tool kit, which seems decent enough for £25.
Other than looking for one more decent short sleeve jersey, I'm pretty well sorted now. (for now).0 -
Is the sizing any better than LIDL's stuff?Scott Speedster S20 Roadie for Speed

Picked up 2 pairs of mitts in contrasting colours so I don't get them mixed up along with 2 sets of spoke reflectors.I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.0

had a look earlier, wasnt really impressed with anything. Last years winter special was better. The rucksack seems very bulky for its small capacity. Really dissapointed with the jerseys, the long sleeved jerseys at winter were excellent. rant over gutted i got no bargains lol0

Popped in today and picked up the chain cleaner, only problem was I also somehow came out with an electric saw, a magnetic tool rail, some bathroom scales and some stuff to get mould off tiles. :?http:\\www.thedecliningcyclist.wordpress.com

Having picked up the tool kit and a chain cleaner on the 18th from my local store on the 18th, I happened to pop into a different local store today and picked up a bike work stand for £24.99. These were not in the other store and as far as I can tell these haven't been advertised but having got it home I'm surprised at how good it i at the price.0

the bike stands were from the last time Lidl had a cycling event. Must just be old stock. I got one a couple of weeks ago and it was the last one, been very very handy.0
