Frame Size..?

Will be buying my new frame in a month or so, what im wondering is do the sizes from a 26" bike co-inside with frame sizes on a 29er?
As i currently rride 21.5" frame on the rigid 26" bike, looking at the same size on my new frame or should i drop to a 19"?
Could be a daft question, but thought i'd ask anyway

It depends on the rest of the frame - the listed size is one out of many ie one tube length! Others can vary a lot for a given size.0
