Team Blanco documentary

For the forthcoming TDF the Dutch NOS tv channel are to follow the Blanco cycling team. Apparently in an agreement reached recently the team will be followed virtually 24 hours a day from when the first team member gets up till the last one goes to bed. Cameras will be installed where possible including the team car and bus. Also team meetings will be shown.A documentary will follow probably in October or November.

    They can't get a sponsor, they have one of the best kits, it'll get ruined!

    Europcar did a similar thing last year and it was pretty boring (unless you like watching TV Tommy brushing his teeth). Maybe this will be better.

    That depends if you think watching Robert Gesink being patched up by the team doctor again is more interesting than watching Voeckler brush his teeth.

    Thinking about it, the facial expressions of both are likely to be very similar.

    NOS did the broom wagon short posted in the PR thread didn't they? If they can maintain that quality for a full documentary should be really good.

    Could be good the cervelo test team one from a few years ago was pretty good
    Pain hurts much less if its topped off with beating your mates to top of a climb.

    It depends how the riders interact with it - the OGE guys always seem to have a sense of humour in their videos for example..

    .. but it might just end up being boring videos of them sitting in their rooms watching a film or something after a stage.
