Afternoons guys,

My first post so go easy on me.... Thought I would dive straight in and share some photos of my bikes. As a recent new comer to cycling (3years now) this was my first bike. Entry level Specialized Allez. Its been a great bike for a novice and to introduce me into the cycling world. This has now become my winter bike due to my recent purchase!

This was my new purchase at the end of last year, a 2012 Felt AR4 with full ultegra. It's been out a handful of times and is an absolute dream to ride! Roll on the summer

Just love the shape of the frame....

Apologies for the poor photos, I will try and take some more on my decent camera.

Thanks

Graeme

I love the AR4 lucky you! ive done excatly the same as you in that I had an allez of that year and have now upgraded to a better bike and relegated the allez to winter/commuter, still a very capable bike though!

    I like both bikes.
I think a silver chainset would look better on the AR4, and match the other components. The current one doesnt do the bike justice, for looks.

I know what you mean but the crank arms are carbon, from a distance they look black but up close they have a carbon finish to them, which I love

Re Felt: Judging by your saddle position (in the clamp) your top tube length (or stem/bars) is too long.
    Yellow is the new Black.

Not necessarily true, I have my saddle as far forward as I can on my giant tcr, this is to get my knee in the correct position over the pedals. Saddle position has to do with length of the femur, and the most important measurement on a bike fit as far as I am concerned and the rest of the tweaking is down to comfort.

    Loving that felt! A beauty.

Not digging the blue tyres though. Other than that - gorgeous.

    The specialised? Meh.

It could be, to be completely honest I couldn't tell you if it was or not. I am in need of a bike fit as I've never had one, I do feel ok on the bike however had a little twinge in my back on my ride on Saturday!??

I have been thinking about changing my bar tape as it will not be long until the white turns to a manky grey colour!! So before I splash the cash I thought I would have a little play about with Photoshop this afternoon, what do you think??

Original photo with white bar tape.....

I Just had to change mine to black if you want a picture? Blue would probably get quite grubby as well to be honest.

If you youtube search how to clean white bar tape there are ways to get a bit more life out of it.

Any pics would be good, what model do you have?

Same model as you but in a 61cm frame.

Struggling to get a good picture because of rubbish light plus it's got clip on TT bars on at the moment.

But if you change the tape I reccomend black just so much more practical. Makes the white seat look a bit odd but your ass will be on that so no one will see it.
