Good afternoon,

Can anyone suggest any other Cycling Magazines that you can recommend?

I really enjoy C+ but I am struggling to find any more magazines along this flavour....

I'm a converted Golfer! So had 4 or 5 subscriptions to Golfing mags through the door during the month. Passing the time whilst having the constitutional!!!!

I'm not interested in Racing (Pro cycling mag?), or Tri-Athlon or MTB. So I guess my field is a little narrow!

Hopefully i'm missing the obvious here?

Any help appreciated..

Summer: Jamis Xentith Pro Di2 - Ksyrium's
Winter: Cannondale Synapse CAAD - Wheels of steel!
Xenith Pro Ultegra Di2
Mavic Kysyrium
FSA Carbon Cockpit
Garmin Edge 800

  • No problem. I still quite like Pro Cycling, and found that C+ is good when you want to buy something, but Cyclist has a good mix of stories and reviews. Enjoy.
  • If you're not interested in racing and the pro scene you might enjoy Cycling Active which has all kinds of stuff, but with the main focus on road cycling.

Butcher - I picked up a copy of Cycling Active but it seemed "dumbed down' dare I say. Far to similar to C+. Horses for courses eh!

I have picked up a subscription to Cyclist (3 Issues for £5 seems a good trial).

  • Yeah, it depends what you're into. At the other end of the spectrum there's Rouleur (at a price). It does have a focus somewhat on pro cycling but not in a Cycling Weekly sense. There's a big focus on the culture and the history of road cycling in there. It can make for interesting reading.

was just coming in here to suggest Rouleur. It's nice, big thick thing full of big photographs etc. More a pro cycling culture magazine than anything. £10 a pop but I do enjoy it.
  • I bought Cycling plus last month and thought it was a good read

I emailed Cyclist to ask about their offer of 3 issues for a fiver, to see if it was also available for Android users. They replied this morning telling me the magazine was only available on the iPad in digital format .......
Really strange rely, as I purchased last month's issue via Google play for my Android tablet.

I think "Cyclist" magazine is a good read, enough tech to keep tech heads like me interested but also some really good articles on rides, events etc

Oh no i've got it really bad - More like the 59th mile!!

Last 365 days from Garmin Connect are 4,395.29 km with an Avg speed of 24.5 km/h and elevation gain 38,361 m

Much better for you than golf! Anyway Plus fours are not cool whatever your told........

I generally ride alone as my job makes joining a club difficult. But do have a mate that will come along now and again. Golf is totally rubbish on your own, cycling for me is better on my own. I find riding with others either too slow or too fast! depending on the partner.

Been cycling for 2 years now - Mid life crisis perhaps (41). But it keeps you healthy. I am a runner normally, but I find that 1 hours running is enough before knees etc start to hurt. You can be out for hours on the bike and its almost pain free (Apart form that last 5Km!)

What is all this with cake? Is this a club thing.....Never even seen a cake shop when iv'e been out cycling. Isn't that where little old ladies go to talk about last nights Corrie? :)
