Hi
Firstly apologies for a what bike first post.
Back to the fold after a lay up due to baby taking up all my time etc and looking for a new bike to replace (but will keep) my beloved and faithful Gulf colour M2 Stumpjumper.
After a 29er with max budget of 1500 (less if possible). I'm thinking hardtail as i do mostly local trails, odd peaks trips and will be looking to do some all dayers over the coming year (s) but open to suggestions for short travel FS although really not sure as don't want to compromise climbing too much. Not sure if it's worth going carbon frame - wondering if too stiff for general riding as opposed to racing??
Any suggestions advice welcome.
Thanks
