Fin lube & fin grease anyone use it?

Morning all

I have some fin lube with teflon which i have kicking about in garage i know this is expensive stuff, whilst i was in LBS i noticed they sell it £20 a tin (aerosol) forgot to ask where they use it on bikes, so i ask the forum the question.

Also have fin grease (aerosol) same question for this stuff.

Interesting - this stuff is used in compressed air systems - it is a high quality highly water repellent lubricant - so would be fine in the drive train in the right quantity - I'm surprised you have some of this and even more surprised that the lbs is selling it. I'm sure it is absolutely ok for bike use but clean off any existing grease before using it in case it changes the characteristics on mixing.

Thanks for that yer was surprised when I saw in LBS Ill give it a go. It's used on our high speed machines in print game
