Love my first road bike
Love just getting out and seeing the country side too

Dislike being unfit, lungs, legs, quads just doesnt do the bike justice lol

Looks good, is that one of those tool holders that's a water bottle? How do you find it?

    Nice bike.
I have had the same bike for a year now and absolutely love it.

If you don't mind me asking, what size frame is that and how tall are you?

    It's a 53cm cube size frame
I'm 5ft8 ish. Probably a shorter body in length versus overall and find the fit comfortable and in control.
I tried the 56cm and normal 54cm in other brands and found the reach to the hoods too stretched

As it my first road bike I wanted control and many where saying you can adjust stem length etc. so I didn't want the conventional guide frame size for me as this felt good. I'm still playing with seat height adjustment, but its about set for me for now

I'm really liking the cube road bikes at the moment and that color scheme looks spot on.

Thats actually quite understated for a cube, who usually make bikes that look like rainbows. Sort the pedals and drop the stem...nice.
the deeper the section the deeper the pleasure.

I've got the pedals but no shoes. Need some comfy wide for ones
    Drop the stem?

He means flip the stem over so it's pointing down. Looks much better :)

What does that do to geometry and set up though?

Makes you more aerodynamic, and usually solves back pain, but sometimes introduces neck pain from looking up more.

Ruins it if the bike is currently comfortable for YOU.

    Good looking bike...
  • My first BIG bike was a Cube, The Agree GTC 2012. (http://aycliffetriclub.onsport.com/wp-c ... _white.jpg).
I like the blue on this Pro but the colour scheme on the 2012 is just delicious. You should do what I did, Change the handlebar tape blue to highlight the colour scheme, and maybe the Schwalbe Ultremo ZX's with the blue strip. I know it may look too much but you have no idea how many people want to buy my bike alone on how I made it look. I changed the white bar tape to red and put the ZX's with the white stripe on mine. You will most definitely need to change yours, the tape gets dirty within 2 weeks.
