That booned rep i saw one here a few months back. Stunning. Just way over priced which was a shame.

I know what you mean, I called in today to see if they had a frame my size. Bu they want 3K, I really like it, but I'm not prepared to ay £400.00 for a nice paint job and a bit of exclusivity.

Mine's not the Boonen rep... Too colourful for my liking. I ordered a satin black frame, with the white decals...
    Size 49cm.

Saw this forum today for the first time, a friend linked me to another post on some S-Works bikes and in my surfing I stumbled across this quickly dying thread. Here's my Boonen Venge, #45/200 in 58cm, 2012 Red, Zipp bars-stem, Far & Near brakes, S-Works crank w/ Cobweb rings, some gold bits from KCNC, gold Nokon, Brooks leather tape, Whiskey cages, some old 404 tubulars. Only have about 100mi on her so far due to consistently bad weather, but she's fast!

    Nice build with imaginative parts.

Never seen those rings before. Do you have the carbon or alloy spider as the chainring bolt sizes are different if carbon?

Good question, I'm using the alloy spider. I originally got the carbon spider, having completely forgotten that the carbon spider uses proprietary chainring bolts. I considered those gold KCNC bolts to be an important part of my design criteria, so I didn't want to change it. The alloy rings vs. carbon rings have a negligible difference in weight anyway.

    Really nice, mate.
Too colourful for my stealth like mind, so I opted for the satin black frame. Picking it up on Monday...

    Picked it up earlier.
Due to a hectic days travelling, I haven't had a chance to ride it, yet. That's pencilled in for tomorrow morning.

    S-Works Venge.
    Dura Ace Di2 2013, 11 speed.
    Quarq S975 cranks.
    Zipp Vuka Sprint bars.
    Zipp 404 clincher wheels.
    Specialized Turbo 23mm.

Bars look as though they turned up, but they aren't! Stem will be trimmed later.

First real riding will be done in Majorca over the next week

Not that different to Hopper1's but chose to upgrade today with Enve's instead of Zipps.

Very nice wheels, mate... Classy
Glad I got the internal battery, as that looks a little out on it's own, down there on the BB.
Rode mine down Puig Major yesterday, and it never skipped a beat, absolutely rock sloid at speed :D

Nobody owns a Venge Comp? Have been oogling but can't find decent non-commercial pics of one.

The red accents look far too garish on the '13 model for my liking.
And the people bowed and prayed, to the neon god they made.

    58 cm. I'm 6' 2" tall with inner seam of 34".

    1) how do you charge it? My bike shed has no power so unless there is a cord and plug I would have to take seatpost out every few months or not.

    2) How low does the battery sit and how heavy is it? I have replaced my saddle bag with a bag in my rear pocket. I love the way the Venge feels solid yet alive when I get out of the saddle. Was worried that if the battery is high up on the seatpost then the ease at which the bike flicks side to side would be deteriorated.

The internal set up has a little port in the small box just under my stem, plug in there.
The battery is about the size of a pen and weighs nothing. It does sit in the seat post, but I haven't noticed any side affects, yet.
