So did anyone on BR ride it yesterday. I have to say with 10,000ft climbing in 75 miles over those steep cobbled climbs its deffo the hardest sportive I've ever done. A lot of people saying yesterday it's harder than the Fred, I for 1 have never ridden that so can't comment but I know the avg speed were pretty low yesterday.

It was a great event, well organised and the feed stops in perfect locations so a massive thumbs up from me to the organisers for that 1.

If you rode it lets hear your thought?

Thanks :D

Good man, it was a great day, I on the other hand will not be riding next yr. I don't mind hills but this was beyond my capabilities... Ha 31% cobbled climbs are not my bag.

I couldn't ride the RVC this year due to injury, I did ride most of the course one evening last year with a Brighouse based racing team. By the time we arrived at Trooper Lane it was dark and a section of the cobbles had been removed for some kind of works.

Most Sportives seem to stick as many daft climbs into a course for the sake of it, RVC is a great route and beats any other "event" I've ridden. The image I've attached is on one of the sections that becomes a 30% climb, quality!

Oh, I managed the course on 39/23
