14.26 CET if the average speed is 40kmh - All here http://www.letour.com/2013/PRX/COURSE/us/le_parcours.html
Really hope the other teams do a better job of making life difficult for Radioshack and Cancellara today, certainly won't be as "easy" to control as Flanders was. Hopefully they'll all channel 2011 and try and get a strong man away early."I have a lovely photo of a Camargue horse but will not post it now" (Frenchfighter - July 2013)0 -
Just been trawling through the interviews on Steephill. Haussler appears to be renaissance man.
Everyone is worrying about Cancellara. Perhaps they have already mentally gifted him the race. all a bit Merckx (70/71?) when he won by 5 mins.
I'm soo excited. Just like the Grand National it's a bit sad to back the favourite so here's to Stannard and Van Summeren.0 -
cannot wait.
going out for a ride around 12, after putting the kids to bed will settle down with beer and pizza to watch the last 100k. no work tomorrow0 -

This has to be the way forward. Radio shack have to be made to work like dogs for most of the race.0 -
take it Eurosport starts at 12.
Anything earlier available elsewhere?"In many ways, my story was that of a raging, Christ-like figure who hauled himself off the cross, looked up at the Romans with blood in his eyes and said 'My turn, sock cookers'"

Radioshack have Bob Jungels up the road in the early breakaway. Right tactic? No surprises that Morkov is also in the break.0

Well, it means they can all sit in the bunch and save their efforts for the big push, when it comes.
Won't be expected to contribute."Science is a tool for cheaters". An anonymous French PE teacher.0 -

At least I covered my Phinney bet."In many ways, my story was that of a raging, Christ-like figure who hauled himself off the cross, looked up at the Romans with blood in his eyes and said 'My turn, sock cookers'"

Cold, sunny and dry
Seems like a perfect day for a winning solo attack 40km from the finish...
Starts as a race, ends as a time trial.0 -
"Is there a live stream i can watch this from? I have tried cyclefan and steephill but neither seem to work."
edit*
apologies just noticed that eurosport isn't showing until 12.0 -

I doubt there will be any live streams for a couple of hours yet0 -
Clever tactic by the shack to have a man in the break, looks like they won't be doing any early chasing.0

Break only has 25secs. Was 30 earlier so sounds like they're keeping them on a short leash0

The break's been caught and 2 remaining escapees, Veuchelen (VCD) and Koretzky (BSE), per the official ticker.0
-
Around 30mins before the first of the cobbled sections.0
-
I'm in the good books at the moment so that's me in front of the TV as soon as ES coverage starts and then get a few miles in myself once it's finished. Shame about the weather but the cobbles will still make riders suffer0
-
Good to see Bretagne Seche being so aggressive. Hopefully ASO will take note.0
-
Just got back from a ride.
Now for lunch, beer and an epic Cancellara TT no doubt.0 -
Stannard off the back...
Edit: Puncture apparently.0 -
Sporza just starting up, France 3 already has live pictures.
