Help me choose some rims

I'm looking to buy some 26" wheels to upgrade my Specialized Hardrock from the standard Alex Rims/Specialized hubs.

After much deliberation I've decided I want Hope Hubs, that is for certain and preferably in red so although there are some good deals around on Hope Hoops for around £280 they are only available in black!

So it means custom wheels which opens up a whole world of rim choices!

I use my bike mainly at trail centres/local bridleways/peak district, a bit of everything really and I tend to ride quite aggressively but within my limits and I've been riding about 2 years so I'm not exactly jumping 5ft gaps. I weigh 82kg 'dry'.
Tyres at the mo are Conti RQ 2.2 & Nobby nic 2.25. The RQ is inherently quite a chunky tyre which is putting me off some of the narrower rims, however my current rim is 17mm wide so it actually quite narrow.

I've mainly been looking at;
Mavic xc717 (a bit narrow but nice and light)
Notubes Crest (seems to be the 'go to' rim ideal width)
No tubes Flow (as above but a bit tougher)
WTB i19(doesn't seem to be many users in the UK, more in the USA but similar to the Crest)
All manner of DT swiss

I'm sure any of the above would do but my own indecision is boring me now! Would someone please advise me as to what might suit me the best?

    I'm keeping loyal to my east Lancashire roots with the hubs.

    Their rims are re branded DT Swiss, certainly with the 430s anway. Have you any experience with any of them?

    Hope Pro II with DT Swiss XR400 rims are a terrific wheel - I have a set on my Hardrock and they're an improvement over the original stock wheels. They're lighter and see to be somehow springier as well, although I couldn't begin to explain how that works - it could all be part of being light. Anyway, if you're determined to go Hope Hoops, this is the one I'd recommend.
