Warning - possible stupid question alert.

Just got a new Norco Sight Killer B with nobby nic tyres. Both front & back tyres came in the wrong rotational direction (they're pointing backwards).

Is this normal practice, or should I change them round?

Are you sure? If so, change them.
The arrow will point backwards at the bottom.

Without seeing them, it's worth noting that some Schwalbe tyres do look backwards compared to other brands.

Yep I'm sure. When the arrow is at the top it points backwards in an anticlockwise direction.

Seems bizarre that both front & back are on the wrong way. One is forgivable as a mistake, but both? Unless I'm missing something & they're meant to be backwards for some reason (tread pattern possibly? dunno just guessing).

In the attached image, if the bike was rolling away, the outer treads are facing diagonally outwards.

My outer treads face diagonally inwards as the bike rolls forwards (i.e. as if the picture is rolling towards you, if that makes sense).

It should really point forwards at the top.
