Does anyone know what size and width of cable ties I should be looking for for the garmin speed/cadence sensor (GSC10)? And anyone know where to get them cheap?

Any from your standard kidnapping kit should be fine!

Basically any length will be fine as you just cut them off and I think the ones I just used were about 4mm wide, I probably wouldn't go wider but 3mm are certainly strong enough.

The easiest thing to do would be to go to somewhere like Aldi/B&Q/Maplin and buy a cable tie bundle, should only be a few quid and you get loads which will last you years for all sorts of jobs!

Thanks guys it was width I was thinking about. So anything up to 4mm should be ok it seems!

You can pick up the 4mm ones at screwfix for a fraction of the ebay price.

Thanks - I had a look and saw plenty of 3.5mm ones at Screwfix but couldn't see any 4mm ones. I'll get some from there.

3.5mm sounds about right to me - 4mm was only a guestimate :)

Got mine from Asda - £1.00 for a pack of about 30. Worked a treat for my GSC10.

I've just got a 510 which came with the GC10. For now I've used the cable ties that come with it but they do seem fairly bulky. I will change to some smaller ones (3mm) next time I need to remove the sensor.

I bought a bag of 50 from Maplins a while back. IIRC they were around £2.
