Can I use a Tiagra Cassette on my MTB

Hi ,
My Drive system on my every day MTB is over due a change the whole lot , I have spare chains and Cassettes (11-32) but on today's 55 mile ride I got to thinking I never use the lower gears at all on my run about , so Im thinking of getting a Tiagra road cassette 11-25 Im using 3x9 system my rear mech is a SLX and my front mech is XT , my crank arms are Deore HTII and the rings ill be using will be a SLX inner 22 Deore Middle 32 and a FSA 44 Outer oh and I will be putting a new set of xt Pulleys also ..

Cool thanks for the fast reply , I just noticed on CRC the old HG50 deore 9 speed cassette is now a Alivio cassette , ok so im gonna go for that , cheers mate
lol lost my self there i mean im gonna go with the Tiagra in my OP lol got a bit sidetracked
