does anyone know where to get them from?

My Cube came with some clear plastic film over the vulnerable areas but I have seen people with appropriate sized rubber o-rings over the cable outer

No, that is just for the internal cabling for the brake cable along the top tube, looking for the balls which go on the outer casing to protect the headtube from rubbing.

I have seen these jagwire sleeves before which are a good idea but I think they look abit ugly especially with jagwire written everywhere

Read this, apparently they still rub so best sticking with helicopter tape.
