With these wider rims is it better to go for 25c tyres rather than 23c or can you not (or rather not advised to) use 23c?

I'd probably be thinking of GP4000S (23c/25c), Vittoria Open Corsa Evo CX (23c, cant find 25c in the UK?) or Veloflex Corsa 23c (or 25c if i could find stock, Ribble are showing out of stock).
Cheers, Stu

I'm running 23c GP4000 on my TB14 rim, makes it look like a 25, works great.

It depend on the clearnace in your frame. A 25 tyre will take a width of 26-27mm on those rims.

The open corsa Evo -cx 25mm is not listed by the distributor. The Open corsa 25mm is listed and the distributor is not showing stock.

    Try the GP4000s instead.

    I on 23mm rims I use:

24mm Vittoria Open Paves for weekending
25mm Vittoria Open Corsas for events
25mm Veloflex Open Corsas yet to be used
    25mm Schwalbe Durano for commuting

I've tried 23mm, they are absolutely fine but I didn't see the point when 25s give better comfort and grip with little in the way of weight penalty.
    Mud - Genesis Vapour CCX
    Race - Fuji Norcom Straight
    Sun - Cervelo R3
Winter / Commute - Dolan ADX

    Which size, 23 or 25?

I guess 23c will feel better comfort wise on a wider rim than they do on a "normal" width rim, right?

    I've got 23mm Conti GP4000S's on my Pacenti SL23's.
Seem to be doing the job well.
