Would this work stand be ok for a Carbon bike?

Been looking for a stand for a few weeks now, mainly at this point just for general cleaning and lubricating my carbon bike. At this price I'm willing to risk it being crap, what I dont want to risk is any damage it might cause.

They get a pretty good review as they also do a wall mounted version too.
Just make sure you clamp the seat post not the frame & you should be fine. If your that worried you can always get a metal seat post to use when clamping the bike, but mine sits quite happy clamped (not in this model) by its carbon seat post without any issues.Pain hurts much less if its topped off with beating your mates to top of a climb.0 -
Dan, that's certainly cleared things up. I thought the clamp went onto the frame but I've spotted the same style one on Amazon and its on the seat post (mine is not carbon anyway).
I do prefer Amazon to ebay so will order the one below.

Supermurph09 - Would try your local ALDI they have just had the same stand on sale in there bike specials should be some still knocking about think there £27 and you would have it straight away. Worth a look. By the way I have the same one works good for the money.0

Thats OK, they do get a good write up & think its from the same people, or I looked last week and they look the same. Some bikes you 'might' get away with frame clamping but much better on the seat post.Pain hurts much less if its topped off with beating your mates to top of a climb.0
