I only have one rideable bike so it goes out in all weathers. Here it is sans mudguards, but still with its light brackets and winter wheels (25c) Check out the clearances! Veloce and Centaur mix, just fitted short reach bars/stem so saddle could do with moving back a touch.

I like to think of it as a budget Roubaix bike - hence the 'pavé'.

Soloist/S1 is a stiff frame for the pave sections!

It's not as harsh as I had been led to believe, especially with the 25 tyres.

That set up is really only for our cr@ppy roads in the winter, I don't think with my bike handling I could manage a real secteur anyway  .
  • Wonderful machines, especially in that anodised grey colour like yours...like it.

Nice - how do you get mudguards onto that?!?

    Road - Dolan Preffisio
    MTB - On-One Inbred

I have no idea what's going on here.

That should read mudguard singular (rear). I dont think one exists that would fit the front.

Classy ride - not sure about the white stem though.

Still one of the top 5 Al frames of all time and prob in the top 20 frames of all time.

These handle extremely well but are built for speed, not comfort.

Not to be alarmist but weren't Wolf forks recalled? This is what prompted the team-up with 3T in 2009...

You're right, I would never take it on rough stuff in its summer guise.

Sharp eye. Even thought it has the carbon steerer this is the (export) CL, luckily it was the SL that had the problem.

I had one of these and it road superbly, just watch your fillings over rough roads?

Keep and eye on the seat tube and they are prone to split like mine did as the seat clamp
