Bashring size

Hi all
Looking at fitting a bash ring to my current triple as I never use the large / 44 tooth ring. It's only purpose seems to be cutting my calf when I crash... what size bash ring would you fit, do you fit a size to replace the 44 ring or do you match closer to the 34 ring (which will be the largest of the 2 rings left)?

The bash should only be the same size, or slightly bigger (too big and it'll rub), than the largest ring it covers.0

Agreed, get a 34T ring or a 36T if you think you may go to a 36T middle ring in the future.Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.0
