I have my Carradice Nelson Long Flap on at the moment whilst training, normally fully laiden for extra weight.
I went for a quick 30 mile ride with a friend a few days ago and left it off, amazing how much quicker I was :-)

I've got a BBB tools & tubes container. It's basically a 600ml sized waterbottle with a wider neck and proper lid. Sits in the upright bottle cage and looks fine. If I was going for a particularly long ride and wanted 2 bottles and there was no chance of a refill anywhere, I'd probably ditch it and carry the stuff in my pockets.
Same here. Looks much cleaner I think

That does look good but the clash of (faux) 3k and my 12k would set my OCD eye twitching.

As it was I had to order a black bidon after I uploaded that picture.

Out of curiosity, what bearing does the clock change have on whether you have a speedo or not?

ermm why do you need extra weight? You can still push the pedals harder without it?

That was an odd post  what I meant was since the clock change all the stuff on the bars came off, lights and speedo..

You don't need a speedo on a fixie though - it's either slow or stopped

I'm in training for a JOGLE at the end of May and whilst true that I could pedal harder, the handling is greatly affected by having the extra weight on the bike. Need to keep it as similar to how it will be on the JOGLE.

You need to keep it on and fully laden AND push the pedals harder. Then you'll notice a difference ;)

On the topic of saddle bags, I don't use one anymore. Jersey pockets have more than enough storage and saddle bags not only look ugly, but they make the bike top-heavy which I don't like.

    MTB - On-One Inbred

I have no idea what's going on here.
