Due to an unfortunate diary cock-up, I'm not able to take part in this event which promises to be the biggest cycling event in the UK this year. All places have now been allocated, however a friend of mine who is also the Chief Exec of a Bristol based alzheimers research charity has a single space available.

The ride is 100 miles staring and ending in London (I believe it finishes on The Mall) taking in some of the Olympic road race route such as Box Hill.

More details here : http://www.prudentialridelondon.co.u...Surrey_100.htm

The only proviso is that the rider raises as much money as they can for the Charity, which is called BRACE http://www.alzheimers-brace.org/

My friend would ideally like the rider to be able to commit to rasing anything from £250 upwards, which given the ride isn't until August should be easily achieved.

So there you go. If you were one of the 55,000 cyclists that applied and didn't get a place, and would be happy to raise at least £250 for a really worthwhile charity please e mail me to steve@vividfs.co.uk

Cheers,
Steve.
