Uplifts in the north?

Anyone know of any uplifts in the Manchester/Leeds area, or even the midlands/lakedistrict?

Plently of techincal riding, but would like to do a day or two with an uplift without going as far south as Cwmcarn/UKbikepark/ForestofDean.

    Not sure of any uplifts in the northern area you specify tbh.

    Lots of good hike a bike DH to be done in the Lakes.

    Antur Stiniog has an uplift and is a similar travelling time from where you are.

    Hamsterley also has an uplift

    I guess they need to get a good number of customers to make it worth it, we ride hampsterley from time to time, and knew about Antur Stiniog although ive not been there. Just wondered if I had missed anywhere nearer but prehaps not.

    Very happy to ride the hardtail of my mates all mountain (thanks tristan) around locally but the bighit doesnt really do going up and im not a fan of pushing!
