cycle computers?

looking for a cycle computer and have been looking at the edge 500, does anybody use one? any opinions good or bad? or any alternatives for sub £200.

what is the difference between these 2 garmin computers as all i can see is the price and the colour but am i missing something?

    the red 500 has a completely fabric hrm as apposed to the plastic one you get with the blue one.
    definately worth the extra as it is a lot more comfortable.

    is that the only difference? as thats a £50 price gap and the deluxe HR strap can be bought for £30 on its own?
    does anybody use one of these and are they any good?
