Then I bought a few bits... Woops ...
Bling bits include custom spank subrosa evo rims built on blue hope pro 2's, x0 rear mech & shifter, KS lev, chris king BB and headset, answer carbon bars, ti axle race face turbine cranks, nukeproof mag/ti pedals, lots of ti bolts and a carbon/ti front qr15 axle:

Then I built a bike for my gf using the original parts and a half price frame and fork:

Sh!te, my eyes...... Nice bike, shame about the colour scheme!
May want a chain guide for that 1x setup, a new chain stays on for a while, but it won't be long before it makes a bid for freedom!Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.0 -
I love the colourS but I don't suppose everyone will... It was mega sunny when I took the pic so looks even brighter...
yeah got a guide in the post for the gf's bike... She'll have to ride it more to have any danger of the chain coming off!0 -
Maybe....I need my Oakleys!
LOL, maybe, when I tried my commuter without a guide it used to fall off during shifts!Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.0 -
Oh it doesn't come off but it is definitely getting a chain guide...
There's an older pic away from bright sunlight0 -
Nope, even away from bright sunlight it's still gopping. But as long as you love it that's the main thing!Trail fun - Transition Bandit
Road - Wilier Izoard Centaur/Cube Agree C62 Disc
Allround - Cotic Solaris0 -
Get rid of the bottle cage, Will look loads better!
I like it0 -
Updates...
Swapped the rotors for 180mm Shimano ice tech. They seem to work pretty good and give a more constant feel.
Today I swapped to UST tyres... 2.4 conti x-king on the rear and 2.2 rubber queen on the front. Both are about the same width.
They sealed up pretty well on the rims after I used electrical tape rather than proper tubeless rim tape... Anyone else use this?? Seems to work really well sealed up with no sealant but might run some just in case.0 -

Cheers, they aren't the lightest (520g) but they look cool and perform really well, giving the bike a stable feel over roots and rocks. Sealed up well too
Need to get up the peaks and cannock again now the weather has cleared up!0 -
Love the build and the colour scheme (except the pink cables).0

It's like you ate a pack of fondant fancies and vomited on your bike.
It's a no from me I'm afraid.0 -
You're a brave boy, props for that!
I'm more a subtle kind of guy...
But those Caliper adapters, are they actually a Yeti-ish blue? Hard to see on pics.My Yeti ARC - viewtopic.php?f=10017&t=129091750 -

Not really... Most of the anodised blue stuff is a similar colour though. The caliper adapters were kcnc ones more for the weight benefits. Most bolts are green titanium. I went a little crazy on colour for me bikes are works of art. I'd love to build bikes if I thought it would make a good business... From minimalist simple coloured single speeds to crazy stuff like mine. Sadly from what I've read it sounds like a hard business to make successful0 -
Haha brilliant0

Loving the build and the colour scheme of your bike especially the pink cables.0

Great bike, but dam that is a ugly colour scheme. So ugly, I think I like it!0

my monitor just puked all over me, cheers.0
