Starting cycling again just after Christmas and have been building the miles up and getting quicker over my normal 10, 18, and 33 mile circuits.
Anyway the sun came out today after a few weeks of rain so I headed off and combined the 18 and 33 mile circuits to come in over 50 miles for the first time. The last 5 miles or so were tough and it was very warm and drank all my drink even though I have two bottles, one quite big - need to find a cake stop somewhere en route to fill up!

And now off for a siesta

Well done good to be able to knock one off the to be done list - hope you rest up & don't feel to drained if the last 5M were that hard.
Pain hurts much less if its topped off with beating your mates to top of a climb.

  • 'The sun came out' and 'very warm' then I realised you are in Spain. Beats the hell out of my two hour slog under grey skies at 4 deg with an icy easterly wind.
