My mate needs some new forks for a DH bike, unfortunately neither he or I know what's what with forks so we're a bit in the dark !
He's been offered a new set of 2012 Marzocchi 888 RCV for £429 would these be a decent buy or should he be looking at something else at that price point?
Cheers

Sounds a bit expensive for that model unless they really are as new and freshly serviced. At that price you should be able to get a reasonable pair of used Boxxer Teams or R2C2's.Transition Patrol - viewtopic.php?f=10017&t=130702350

Thanks for the reply, just to confirm they are brand new and boxed with warranty (the quote was from a retailler)

In that case I don't think you will get any better for the price. The Rockshox Domain Dual Crown RC is a little cheaper but much heavier and not as well damped.Transition Patrol - viewtopic.php?f=10017&t=130702350
