there's a 34t, but i do not think there is a 52t yaw chainring available

also, you would need the compact version of the crankset to use 34t - 110bcd

there are two types of yaw chainrings, the hidden bolt type match the red 2013 exogram cranks, the non-hidden bolt type match the older cranks

so if you have old compact cranks, you can fit new yaw rings to make a 50/34

or you could fit a pre-yaw compact with non-yaw 52/34, but 52/34 is really a big difference, not sure the fd will handle it well, also it gets expensive, if you need lower gears then fitting the wifli rd+cassette would be more reliable

A 52 34 does not exist because it won't work corectly. I have run this, the problem is when you are in the 34 and want to go into the highest gears on the rear the cassette (smallest) the chain rubs on the 52 chainring. You would also need the compact chainset 110 BCD as this is the only one the 34 will fit on.

Unless I'm mistaken the usual 'semi-compact' is a 110 BCD and the chainrings 52/36. As has been said a 34 would make for a very large jump and probably wouldn't shift well enough.

Odd that the chainset options don't seem to be listed on the SRAM website though. A quick look at the Fudge Cyclestore suggests that it's only available in 53/39 and 50/34.
