Need help! I've looked and looked, and heard and got frustrated.
Just sold my specialised hardrock pro disc old faithful with a view to getting a full suspension bike. However, following reading, visits and the like, I'm now considering a better spec'd hardtail - the Whyte 905.
Maximum punishment for the bike will be Cannock Chase and trail riding.
Was dead certain about getting a full suspension, but am now concerned over service costs, bounce and failing parts.
It's a nightmare!
Also concerned over forks- fox or rockshox? Read some horror forums about servicing of Fox
Any advice would be greatly received

Two weeks ago I could have easily answered that, but the more I look the more I end up thinking buy an Orange single pivot! (Which I really can't afford). I reckon I've got to be sensible 16000

I wouldn't be put off with a full sus at this price, the bearings are generally good and the parts are easy to replace anyway. that said you'd get a very light hardtail for the budget.0
