Padding

I find after a few washes padding in my shorts starts to compact, any ideas,hits or tips on how to stop this?

    What shorts are they? Never had this issue with any of my bibs.

    Hand wash all your kit, never put it into a washing machine.
    the deeper the section the deeper the pleasure.
