Here's the finished product of my winter tinkering.....thanks to all the BR forum members for their suggestions (new saddle, red hoods etc)...
I know the American Classics are going to divide opinion, but I love the look of the them, they weigh less than what was on there before and the roll sweetly.
Unless I can find some black Record/Chorus brake calipers, I think I'm done tinkering.....roll on the summer weather

You've got a gap in your bar tape.

He shouldn't be running valve caps at all. Nice Wilier that.I'm sorry you don't believe in miracles0

nice but I can't handle the bluey white of the seatpost against all the yellowy white elsewhere...0

1. Handlebar tape....yes, my first go at wrapping!
2. Valve caps....was trying both to see which looked better, red or black....I know, a bit tarty!
3. Black calipers.....got my eye on sone nice FSA K-Force ones
4. I know what you mean about the seat post...I think the photo accentuates it, but it is a slightly different shade....seen a Deda one I might go with, but the rest of the kit is FSA, so will try to find a new "whiter" one...
Thanks for the positive comments....looks and rides lovely!0 -
First bike i've seen and actually thought "those AC wheels look good!" I really can't stand those wheelsets as the graphics in my opinion are awful but somehow you've made them look good, well done!Road - http://www.bikeradar.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=40044&t=12777154&p=16943702#p16943702

I know...the AC graphics are a bit "busy"....but the colourways just seemed to go nicely with the bike...I think some medium dish carbons might look ok too, but couldnt stretch to a decnt set, so this'll do for now....
Its heading up Alpe D'Huez in the summer so we'll see how she goes....0 -
I said it before, but very, very nice looking bike!0

That Wilier thing...I've got the bug. I get a lot of stick for liking them so much!0

Not sure why you'd get loads of stick for liking them? Theyre a classic Italian marque, with heritage, and make some of the sexiest looking bikes out there.....oh, and theyre a blast to ride too!0
