Improving fitness

I'm a cycling noob after only starting in the new year so dont be too rough on me. I did this same route about 6 weeks ago and had to stop a few times as the climbs were too much.
Quite happy, no stops today. Its surprising what a bit of an improvement in fitness and a lovely day can do. I think I was lacking in self confidence (and just giving up too easily) before. Lately, I've started to find it easier to give myself a kick up the arse (mentally) and push on, whereas before I'd just stop.

Amazing what a bit of sunshine can do to improve your mood and in turn bring your time down. Riding in bad weather is so depressing that many a time I have decided to go for a run instead just because its quicker to run 10km than try and do 50 60 km cycle in crappy weather.
Well done for getting out there.0
