Front wheel replacement

My Specialized Stout hubs are playing up, loosening off during rides.
So thinking of replacing the wheel rather than messing around. Wanna know my options as for a newbie its pretty confusing!
Mainly timid riding on a QR9 wheel on Spec Rockhopper, occasionally tackling the trail centre reds in south/mid wales. Looking at the Superstar Switch hubs (not sure what rims for my riding, but the alex ones hold up on my rockhopper). Like the fact that I could adapt these hubs to 15 thru axel if I ever upgrade my forks.
Are there any other hubs that do this?
Also what is the deal with Shimano hubs, would I need to spend cash on adapts or buy shimano rotors?
Looking to spend no more than £90 for a front wheel.
