Well after paying a deposit on a Cube Agree GTC SLT last weekend when I went to pick it up yesterday I took it for a test ride (wasn't possibly the weekend before due to the snow) and decided it was not the bike for me. Just could not get a comfortable position on it. My conclusion to this is that I want a bike with a longer headtube. My body proportions are out of normal according to the lbs. I am 184 cm tall but have long legs with an inseam of 91cm.

So back to sqaure one but a couple of bikes that look like they will fit the bill are the Cannondale Synapse or the Giant Defy. I would go for a carbon in both.
So searching the internet looking at both bikes I saw what appears to be a good deal (providing it fits).
This 2012 Cannondale Synapse Carbon Ultegra for £1900

The wheels appear to be decent and get a good review providing I am looking at the same wheels from bike to review.

So does anyone know if the 2013 Synapse Carbon frame is new for this year ? I now there must have been some changes as the 2013 frame uses a standard 27mm seatpost but the 2012 model seems to use one that is unique to Cannondale.

Can't find any deals on Giant Defy Advance but would pay the RRP is needed to get the right bike.
Both offer similiar geometry with headtube taller than the average road bike which I want.
Any comments on the bike from Pauls Cycles ? Have I missed anything that makes the price seem extremely good value ?
