sram x5 shifter borked.

10 speed shifter jammed solid, cable runs OK and rear mech fine so issue must be inside shifter. It's under warranty so don't fancy opening it if there will be springs flying around the kitchen, but it means my Easter will involve a lot more walking than I had planned.

Is there any point me opening it to see what can be done?

I found it useful a while back when I took my shifter apart and got confused

Managed to un jam it but shifting is now all over the place, going to take it in to shop next week.
