Hi guys n gals
I'm normally over on the Road forum but seems that there's much more experience of helmet cams over here - so hope you dont mind me visiting and asking for your experience.
I am looking for a reasonably priced helmet cam (up to £150 max) and after some recommendations please. I have been getting very tempted by this one......

There’s a few videos on you tube off this camera so you can get a idea of the quality. The quality looks good. The mounts look good for the camera also...
I’ve got a little mini key ring camera of eBay (808#16 or the 808#18). Apart from the stupid casing and lack of mounts. It’s a good little camera for £30-40 the video quality is good and you can use a computer to change many different setting. I’ve made a few mounts for my helmets, bike car etc for little cost...

I use a 808#11 gaffa taped to my helmet, although I think I might put it on my bars. With a 32GB memory card total cost is about £35. Does 720p res videos. Only real downside is the battery life - about 45 minutes after using it for a year.0
