5"5 frame size?

Hi does anyone think a 54cm bike would be fine for me- a 5"5 teen? How long would bike last?

    depends how fast you grow.
    Could buy a size up and use a shorter stem until you grow into it.

    I'm 5' 5 and ride a 54cm trek 1.7 if that helps

    Bit big really - you'd have to run a really short stem
    Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..

    I'm also a shortarse (5'6") and initially was 'fitted' for a 52cm frame ... Bought another frame by a different manufacturer in this same size but was essentially the next size down ... Big improvement ...

    When buying my next bike I went for a 50cm by the same manufacturer as the previous frame and it was a huge improvement ...

    Bought a new bike by the same manufacturer but with a slightly different geometry and have to,say a 48cm would be a better option ...

    5'6 and have a 53" frame, I'd say it's slightly too big as I was recommended to get a 52" frame, but the bike I chose didn't do that size.
