PO price rises April 2

You all probably know about this, but worth considering if yu are selling stuff...

I was in the PO yesterday posting stuff for people and they told me I was lucky as the prices and structure changes next Tuesday. As well as the prices going up, parcels will be split into small and medium parcels, so the letterbox thing they use to assess the size/width of letters will now include parcels.

The person behind the counter said 1st & 2nd class letters was not going to go up much and she thought they will be making the most of the 'listening to customers feedback' with the new parcel small/medium. She didn't seem that impressed...

To give you an idea though:
1st Class and 2nd Class parcel prices
• 1st Class Small Parcels prices start from £3.00
• 2nd Class Small Parcels prices start from £2.60
• 1st Class Medium Parcels prices start from £5.65
• 2nd Class Medium Parcels prices start from £5.20

    Oh FFS the sizing thing with letters was bad enough. Weighing a parcel before sending is one thing. Measuring it at home is just a pain in the backside. :(

    Just have progressive pricing based on weight for crying out loud.

    Just say bollox to them.

    Get yourself an account with parcel2go and send the stuff that way. They even give you discount if you put their ad logo in your Ebay listing.
