Upgrading Chainset??

I am looking to upgrade my Chainset but I have a few issues
At the moment I have an FSA energy compact which came as standard on my Mekk, I am looking to install some osymetric rings however they need a standard crank to bolt on to. Is it possible to buy just a decent crank without the rings on or am I going to have to buy the full set and let the rings go to waste??
Oh ideally id like ultegra to match the rest of my gearset

Have you tried the classifieds or Ebay? The money you save by buying SH you can use towards a new BB if needed. No wear on the crank arms in normal use and as you are going to fit new rings no need to worry about the rings it comes with. Must be plenty of SH standard chainsets out there with people fixated with compacts That would be the way I'd go.Norfolk, who nicked all the hills?
