Looking to buy my daughter a new bike. She's not quite big enough for even a small adult bike so looking at a 24" frame. The Kona Kula 2012 and 2013 are both currently reduced and both look quite nice and are down from £750 to £550. They have a slightly different spec and hoped someone could tell me if one appears better than the othe.r

      probably no help whatsoever but, some people say every year the same models seem to be downgraded in some way from the previous year ?
      if i was buying one for my daughter i think she would prefer the brighter coloured one of the two, and its cheaper :wink::lol:

      Nice spec apart from undamped forks.....

      How tall is your daughter....would an XS 26" still be too big, my daughter is 5'3.5" and rides an XS (13.5")...plus as she grows (nasty habit of kids) it will probably last her longer than a 24".
      Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.

      My son was 9 when we got him an XS frame GT and rode it no worries but we had a wee play at our local shop trying different frames/bikes.
