Hi people ive been searching online and over many forums for advice on a tubless setup but in the forums theres so many differnet opinions i cant find the help i need. Is there anyone who knows what they are talking about can give me simple advice in straight forward terms. I've just upgraded my bike, apparently the rims are tubless ready but i dont think the tires are.
Rims: sun ringle charger comp.
Tires: maxxis minion dhf exo 2.5 / ardent exo 2.4
I would just like to know is it worth going tubless in the first place? as ive never rode a tubless bike before.
And what will i need to buy to go tubless?
Thanks for any help.

If the rims are tubeless ready, you need stans tape, valves, and sealant. That's it! Doesn't matter about your tyres, the sealant plugs those holes, then any others if you puncture.0

thanks for your help Greer. i think the tape is built into the wheelset already, heres a link:

does this mean i just need to get valves and sealent and im ready to go. cheers0 -
Is it standard rim tape, or tubeless tape though? The link does say it comes with the right tape.
Yep just valves and sealant. Superstar do cheaper valves, but I just stuck with stans for valves and a big bottle of sealant.0 -
cheers Greer. yes ill stick with the stans aswell. thanks for your help again nice one.0
