Anybody own one, had one?

Looking for a hi-viz lightweight waterproof, seems ok from what I've seen on the net.

Any recommendations?

  • I have one of last years models.

I haven't got anything to compare it with but will offer my views.

It's cheap, packs down into it's own pouch easily and will fit in a back pocket without much fuss and is highly waterproof.

The bad news is that it's not much of a looker and is a bit baggy. The breathability is, I think, a figment of Polaris' imagination - it's totally boil in the bag.

It's fine as an emergency rain stopper but you really wouldn't want to ride far in it although I suppose it's better to be wet and warm than wet and cold. I don't regret buying it and guess it's worth the £35 or so I spent on it.
  • Mine is going on eBay this week it's xxl and I've shrunk a bit . Worn maybe half a dozen times.
