New rider, need riding buddy Preston, lancashire

Hi, im Martin 23 i live in lea, Preston. I've decided to take up mountain biking/down hill, im from preston and just wondering if there is any people that share the same interest in this area that i could tag along with. I use to ride bikes alot when i as younger but once i started driving, bikes kinda got forgot about but now i want to start riding again, ive just bought a 2007 kona stinky its not a bad bike but does need tidying up abit so its getting stripped and rebuilt with upgrade parts in mind and a powder coat this week.

I work nights as a lorry driver so really i only have weekends and a few hours during the day to ride
