Epic Easter challenge

I have been planning my 400 mile, over 4 days (100 a day ) Easter challenge for myself for a short while now. I have sorted some not too far from home routes just in case I start to fade and have someone riding with me on Saturday, other than that I will be alone. The most I have ridden in one go is 108 miles and have never ridden on consecutive days but this is the only time of the year I will get this many days off work in succession. Unfortunately the weather is not going to be very kind as its going to be rather cold but at least no snow like a lot of you guys have now.
I know what food and drink works for me during a 70-80 mile ride but wondered if you guys with more experience can give me any further advice please.

What part of the UK do you live?Cannondale SS Evo Team
Kona Jake CX
Cervelo P50 -
I live in Sussex and the routes are generally on the flat with a few bumps along the way but nothing to worry about. I don't think I would attempt this if I lived in Cumbria for example lol0

Sussex? Flat?!?!? Is that the same county with The South Downs and quite a lot of Cat 4 Climbs? :P0 -
Flat can be worse than hilly. You're pedalling continuously especially if its a head wind. At least with hills there's always a descent! Wish you luck.2012 Bianchi Via Nirone Xenon
960 miles in 8 days starting 6th April 2013

Your correct there are plenty of hills but you can pick your way around and through them0 -

See your point and will see how I fare. Saturdays ride has a few hills in it going in and out of Eastbourne but I am sure the first couple if days I will be fine. More concerned about how I will feel on Sunday and Monday to be honest. Whatever happens I will give it my best shot0 -
All done, 400 miles as planned in 25 hours and 11 minutes total time, 6106m of climbing over 4 days.
I take my hat off to the pros who do this day in, day out. I know they train a lot and don't do anything but cycling but its still blooming hard work.0 -
Well done dude! That's pretty impressive0
