Axle diameter and fork mounted rack

Hi Just succumbed to temptation and ordered myself a Thule Outride 561 -

It just occurred to me though I have no idea what diameter axle my bike has! Specialised Sectuer 2011 Apex - does anyone know if I need the axle adaptor kit?

Most reviews and stuff I read makes no mention of it so does this fit standard road bikes as it comes? The guy at roofrack.co.uk said its very unsusual for people to buy the adaptor kit so I am guessing it fits road bikes as it comes?

Anyone know as if I need one I better order it quick!

Front wheel QRs are pretty universal at 9mm unless MTB with their maxle type arrangements
