Ive just bought a new bike which is a Cube Analog 2013 and im looking to get a few essentials. I know it sounds vain but im really struggling to find some decent looking mud guards that don't stand out like a sore thumb!
Does anyone know of any? Or am i looking for something that doesn't exist........ any help would be appreciated.

thanks for posting this, how big a tyre can you have underneath one of these mudguards ?0 -
I'm using Rockshox Reba's with Maxxis Crossmark 2.25's and there isn't much room to spare but if you only use the side fixings then it will only be about 1mm below the bridge on the forks.....not enough to worry about.0

While the Fender Bender looks neat, is it actually any good? I've read reviews where people say it's great.... but a few then say they're using it combined a down tube mounted one like Crudcatcher
I've got a Topeak DeFender on the front of my 26" full suss and a Crudcatcher rear. http://www.bikeradar.com/gear/category/accessories/mudguards/mountain/product/review-topeak-defender-m1m2-mudguards-11-29571
Don't really care how it looks though if it allows me to keep riding in all weathers0 -
It stops quite a lot of the mud that gets flicked through between the stansions and ends up back in your eyes. Doesn't stop everything by any means.
I can't really be bothered with full mudguards. Whatever happens I am going to get covered in mud.0 -
The bender fender is really good to be fair and helps stop a lot of the muck hitting you in the face. I rubber queen front tyre (HUGE 2.3) and Rockshox sector forks and have no issues with tyre clearance.
I also have a crud catcher on the down tube and that helps too.
When the weather is really wet (like now) I use a butt fender and although doesn't stop all is keeps must of it off my shorts.
But then your never going to stay clean at all especially in these conditions.GIANT XTC 2.5

I have a set of these Crud Race mud guards. They work well.

For the front if your running fox forks there is nothing better for looks and how it's works than the POWA DEFENDER. It's £60 but worth it.
Here it is fitted to my strive.
The rear I use a mucky nutz butt fender. Which isn't the best but offers some protection. Only using this as the design of my bike I can use a crud catcher as it rubs when the suspension compresses.0
