If you're looking for another challenge this summer this event could be it! We're providing a package that includes accommodation, food, event entry and all transfers for this tough sportive that will see you climb 4,100 meters over the 164KM long course. The event is organised by Sportcommunication the people who run La Marmotte every year and has around 1500 entrants.
I'm certainly looking forward to riding this one!!!

Done this the last few years and it's a good event. Gives you the chance to do some less trodden climbs as well like the Parquetout, before a whole lot of climbing to finish it off.0
-
I'm glad you liked it and agree it gives an opportunity to ride some different climbs with great scenery.0
-
Yes, the scenary is fantastic, especially on the Col d'Ornon to begin the ride. The drag up to the finish from Bourg d'Oisan is just tough. Some cracking views once you turn off onto La Garde but legs were suffering a bit by then.0
-
I'm sure you were not alone with the suffering, it's always that last climb that hurts no matter how hard you've trained! Are you riding it again this year or another event?0
-
Probably not this year. Doing the Maratona again in June, so will probably have to go away with the other half in August rather than travel for another event.0
-
Well good luck with the Maratona in June. I've La Marmotte early July this year after a year off for last years Etape.0
-
Thanks, you too. La Marmotte is probably the toughest one out there.0

Cheers - 4th time around for me so no surprises other than some tired legs 5 km up Alpe d'Huez :-)0
